Yet another stupid "what is our statis/does he like me?"?

This guy i have known for like two years now and our parents are like BFF's(moms) and we see eachother all the time and he is one year older than me(he is 13) and 2 grades above me(8) and i really thought he liked me about a year ago because he always was talking to me and was nice and there was a question that he was gay but he said no and so now he talks to me like "i regret in pre K when i thought girls were icky but now i wouldnt mind" and stuff, he doesn't sit close to me ever because im pretty sure he thinks i like him but the truth is i don't know if i like him! He doesn't talk to me ALL the time but when he does its like we are having a connection and we see and listen what we are talking about even if its like girls VS guys jeans.
