Will facial piercings close?

ive wanted to get my lip or nose pierced, and maybe even 2 microdermal piercings on my chest, but i want to make sure that if i dont like them or decide to take them out after a while that theyll close up, i dont want a bunch of holes in my face, does anyone know if theyll close or not?
