Why is it that women are so relationship minded?

You cannot even have a friend ship with a women any longer., They seem to fall into some kind of desperation mode, where if their not in a full blown physical/emotional drama with you, they don't want anything to do with you. I like being friends with women, when I meet one whose bones I want to jump, I let her know right off the bat so there are no misunderstandings, I just don't get this fanatical need for ual/emotional intimacy from a male.
